Hi, I'm Desiree, or Dee as most people call me. I've been a hairstylist for 30+ yrs. I can't remember ever wanting to do anything else. It started at 7 when I just wanted to curl my friends hair, so I curled it, or at least I attempted to. You guessed it, I burned her forehead. At 13, I needed a trim the day before school pictures on the top of my hair ( you know I couldn't get it high enough in '85) I thought "I'm going to be a hairstylist, I can do it myself." Those are school pictures I'll never live down. The beauty industry has always been a part of my life. My Mother was a make up artist. Watching her make people feel so good about themselves is what sealed the deal for me.  Doing color and highlights is so relaxing to me. My co-workers laugh that I get such a "concentration face"while doing it. I specialize in men's cuts and short cuts. Creating movement and texture is so fun!! I'm always learning.  I love a great color class, learning a new cutting technique, or attending a hair show, as well as my hairstylist coaching class that I've been involved with the past year.

 As a stylist, my consultation is so important to me with each client at each appointment. We will discuss your wants and needs for your style. I'm passionate about taking your vision and tailoring it just for you, along with educating you the best way how to care for your style at home. We'll discuss the products and styling techniques that will help you create it. Forming a long lasting friendship with each of my clients has given me such joy over the years. I can't imagine ever being in any other industry.

When I'm not at the Salon you can find me reading a good book, taking a ride on the back of my husbands Harley, running and exercising or following my son on the golf course. I've been married for 26 yr and have been blessed with 3 awesome kids and a granddaughter who is the apple of my eye!! Watching them follow their dreams is my best accomplishment.
